Sumi on paper, hanging scroll in brocade mounting, bone rollers. Storage box with inscription: Painting of a rat - a direct memory of Master Bairei (Senkó Bairei Shinseki nezumi no zu). The box bears the date when the work was acquired by the collector in the Taisho era - year of the tiger, 1914.
