GALERIE ARCIMBOLDO PRESENTS ITS WINTER SALE OF CHINESE ART & ANTIQUES
On Wednesday December 10, 2014, Galerie Arcimboldo, the only auction house in the Czech Republic specialising in Asian art, will hold an auction of Chinese art and antiques with a total estimated sale value of EUR 1,260,000. The auction features 275 selected works of art, including an notable collection of Buddhist bronze figures, superb Ming porcelain, an extraordinary 18th century carved rhinoceros horn, and high-quality jades. Once again we have put together an exceptional collection of Chinese master paintings, including eleven works by Qi Baishi, featuring a rare figural painting, “Seated Fisherman”, and “Lotuses”. The section also features a Li Keran scroll painting, “Shepherds and Buffalo”, Zhang Daqien’s “Mountain Ridges in the Mist”, works by Chen Banding and others.
