YAO CANGKE (20th century)

Ink and pigments on paper, hanging scroll with silk mounting, likely part of a converted multi-panel screen. No inscription. signature, or seals - identification label on the reverse of the rolled scroll reads: "Yao Cangke, Flowers and Birds, part of a screen from the Yuan period (1280 - 1368)". Provenance: Collection of prominent Czech sinologist Josef Hejzlar.
