THE DANCE OF DEATH - BAROQUE BOOK

Leather binding decorated with gold, handmade paper, 52 etchings, 33 x 21.5 x 4 cm, first edition printed in Passau in 1753 (under the title Geistliche Todts - Gedanken). Engravings by M. Rentz commissioned by Count František Antonín Špork based on wall frescoes in the Kuks hospital which date before 1729.
