ARCIMBOLDO CORDIALLY INVITES YOU TO ITS EXHIBITION “THIRTY-EIGHT TREASURES OF CHINESE ART”
From May 12 to May 14 the Kaiserstejnsky Palace in Prague will host a unique festival focused on Chinese art, antiques, and contemporary design - Chinese Culture Week.
During this event, Arcimboldo will offer an exceptional exhibition entitled “Thirty-Eight Treasures of Chinese Art”, presenting a remarkable collection of museum-quality paintings and antiques mapping the history of Chinese art from ancient times to the present day. Among the items that will be on display are a 2,200-year-old carved wooden figure of a tiger, a Ming Dynasty period 'weiqi' game board, a large 7th-century terracotta figure of a horse, a Ming Dynasty period carved jade figure of the seated Guanyin, and a rare oil painting by one of the most significant Chinese painters of the 20th century, Wu Guanzhong.
All works in the exhibition have impeccable provenances and have undergone careful vetting to ensure they fulfil the strictest artistic criteria.
