Willow with traces of polychrome. Carved from a single block of wood (with the exception of hands that were added later). The Bodhisattva standing in a posture of composed elegance and grace, crowned with a diadem, the plump facial features pleasingly harmonised, with high arching eyebrows surmounting the half-closed eyes, with broad nose and full lips, the figure draped in a voluminous double-skirt, falling in folds down to the feet, the whole raised on a lotus base. Two hollows on her back for reliquaries.
