AN EXQUISITE PALE GREEN JADE BRUSH POT

Meticulously carved in relief with a scene of a scholar and two attendants in a landscape, standing by a pine tree, their heads turned upwards as they observe two flying cranes. A small rocky outcrop and a further gnarled pine tree with a shallow relief of mountains in the background and scrolling clouds around the rim complete the scene. All supported on three short feet.
