The leather helmet of abbreviated eboshi form black lacquered with a dragon and flames on either side, the peak and fukigaeshi leather covered with a gilt-metal chrysanthemum on the fukigaeshi, the maedate, a long-handled hishaku, to the rear an iron itamono Hineno jikoro, black-lacquered iron menpo with hair moustache, leather kosode, shinogote the plates overlaid with fabric, the nimaido of leather vertical plates reinforced on the inside with spaced rods of iron to help keep its shape, on the front a lacquered image of Fudo and on the back a bonji of the same deity, leather kusazuri, plate and mail haidate and shino suneate, black-lacquered overall and laced in pale green sugake odoshi; together with an armour box and a wood stand.
